Thread III: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1311311/posts |

Free Republic has a lot of horse people that have found each other on other threads . And since we all like to talk horses, how about a thread where it is not off-topic, but is THE topic?
A few of us thought it would be interesting and informative to have a chat thread where we can share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the last thread we had a great time and were a great help to each other working through lessons and training, horse lamenesses and illnesses, questions and challenges and always just our stories we like to tell.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and Becky pings everyone most mornings. Let Becky (Paynoattentionmanbehindthecurtain) and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in . There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news . Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the last thread, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.
Both at great ages :) How did they manage the birthdays so close? Hope you have a great time celebrating tonight.

If anyone interested I'll post a letter at 11:30 CT if not solved. Have fun:')
C= L. If I'm still up, I'll be back with another at MN:')
Yawn. I think I'll wait until tomorrow for the next letter unless yall ping me:')
Good morning.
About my son and grandson's birthday's so close: my son's wife's birthday is in Nov. too. A week before Charlies.
My daughter, SIL, and their sons' birthday is all in Oct. :)
Makes for easy to remember and celebrate. We do them all together in each month.
Becky
Sounds like you are looking forward to it though:'). Mornin Becky.
Absolutely. I live for that stuff. I'm one of those guys that works for fun and has fun working. But not my 'day' job. I'm not one of those kind of workaholics. I could drop this in a skinny minute and never look back. I'm talking bout the kind of work around the farm, in the fresh air, the smell of the horses, the dogs tagging along, doing repairs on the fence or barn with a view of the mountains over my back pasture.
(Big Irish sigh)
That's my retirement plan. Makes my eyes misty thinking about it.
Makes mine misty reading about it:')
You certainly have a beautiful place. I would miss all my animals, and home too. It must be so hard to be away, for so long. Are you still in Florida, doing the tornado clean up?
Good Morning to you. What is with all that mumbo jumbo letters? Puzzle of some sorts, secret code, mind boggler? Whew! makes my head hurt. :o
We were talking about puzzles yesterday. This is what I do for fun:') It's a crytogram. Letters are substituted. C=L. You want another letter?
I first hear his name on a Garth Brooks tape . I don't know who he is. I was going to check into it but didn't.
