Well, he might just make a good one to have around. Seems he chose you for a reason.
I wondered about that since it's a dark area behind her and the dogs are black. Horses don't see in color do they? She seems to see fine frontally though.
Oh, ok, ditches can be difficult for horses. Harley doesn't like going over/thru ditches.
Becky
Maybe but I can't keep him around the grandbabies with no immunization hx. We are in a rabies area. If no one claims him I can. I think I'll just tie him up out front today and see if his owner comes to get him. Or better yet, I could take him to the vet and let him become Sarah Lee's buddy. I would feel really bad if she hurt him though.
I don't know if they see color. It almost sounds like it's the movement rather than the dogs that scares her doesn't it. Years ago I had a stud horse that shied really badly on the off side. Turned out his eyes had like pinholes in them (I can't remember the name of it). Anyway, by working with him extensively on that side, he overcame it to a degree. A matter of trust for one, and we always spoke to him if we came up to that side or when grooming, etc.
Very pretty horses:)

Well I've got the care of my animals all taken care of. Now I know why I don't go on trips often.
Working on laundry and packing as it comes out of the dryer.
Jenny, is spending the night since we have to be at the airport so early, around 6 I think.
Straightening up the house so we don't come home to a mess. I'm sure I'm going to be dead Sun. Our plane gets back here late Sat. night.
Becky
Yeah because I have had her on trails and I have walked her by the same dogs laying in grass. She just glanced at them. It's only behind her.
Vegas is fun. The boss sending us sometime in March, I think. I want to stay at that hotel with the water show though so I can watch it from above:')
Thanks.
We certainly have had the attention lately, with Kerry coming here to goose hunt. What a joke that was.
Well we haven't seen him for awhile. He acts like he has Texas locked up:') He was at my sons graduation when he was governor. He shook every seniors hand and posed for a picture. I'm talking about a 4A school too. The class was so large it was held on the football field.
I sure hope so!
We got Terry instead. (I refuse to call her Tharazza)
He does but he doesn't have to act like it:') Seriously, I understand but I have a roof sign I want to try.
That water show is pretty cool. I liked it alot. Around the fountain pond it's built to look like an Italian village. If you go, be sure to look at the chandlier in the lobby. My brother told us how much it cost, over 100,000. I thought it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen:) This particular Casion/hotel was the newest one when we were there.
They were just starting construction on the the hotel built like Paris, Eifel Tower, when we were there last, really looking forward to seeing it.
I think I'm in better shape here then I thought I was. So now it's just finish up packing. I think Dan, (brother), has a lap top computer, so I will probably be able to check in some.
Becky
There are probably computer rooms also.I didn't go inside. I don't even remember the name. We were booked at the mgm (?) last time. It was ok and I appreciated it but I really wasn't into movie star pictures. The white tiger exhibit was cool though. One laid on top of the plexiglass and looked down like we were the ones in a zoo:')
We didn't see the white tigers when we were there before. You think they will still be there? I know the show has stopped.
I've been trying to remember the name of that casino too. It was a funny name, I probably couldn't spell it anyway:)
I liked the Ceaser Palace mall the best. Soooo many interesting stores. Almost like a museum, all the art shops.
The last time we were there was at the same time the NFR was going on. So there was a lot of cowboy stuff around. Dan said those cowboys really knew how to party:)
It was nice having Dan with us. He knew where all the "free" shows and stuff were. We saw more of Vegas then any of the group we went with did put together. He'll have to work some of the time we are there. Just found out from his DIL, that he will be here next week. I did not realize he was coming then.
Becky
Since Rusty is doing better, and eating more, I was thinking of trying the bran mash again. I've heard it's good for them, and will help clean out sand if that is a problem.
Before I do tho, I wanted to check to see how you mix yours. When I gave it the other day, I had just a tiny bit of water standing on top. Was that too much water? Do you mix yours so it's pretty soupy or thick? The bag has no directions.
Becky
I mix it so it is like thick oatmeal. No standing water. Gets thicker if you pour in the hot water and let it sit a few minutes.
