Oklahoma cops pop "Home Alone" star for pot, pill possession
SEPTEMBER 17--In a week that has already included news about the arrests of former child stars Tracey Gold and Edward Furlong, comes word from Oklahoma that Macaulay Culkin was popped this afternoon on drug charges. The 24-year-old actor, best known for starring in the "Home Alone" movies, was nabbed for possession of marijuana and a "controlled dangerous substance" for which he did not have a prescription. A bleary-eyed Culkin is pictured below in an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office mug shot. Arrested following a traffic stop, Culkin was jailed on $4,000 bond.
Fred also does the voice for a quiet, sweet animated show that comes on every morning on Nickelodeon. His voice is so sweet and soothing. The guy with MS that was on Laverne and Shirley provides a character's voice as well. I think it's targeted for 2-5 yr. olds maybe.
That was PARTY MONSTER...
I thought he played the "mole"..
Here's Fred with his character, an octopus named Oswald.
The only one that I know of is Peter Ostrum, who played Charley, the kid star in WILLY WONKA, avoided the curse. Of course, he declined to accept the offer to star in three more movies..
Oh my. Well, put this doper in the column marked, "Arrested with marijuana while not in the privacy of his home".
It also helps to have parents who send you off to work at the age of four while they stay home and smoke dope.
Mac is redeemed by that one shot where is holding a rifle, looking straight at the camera, and saying, "Okay. This is it. Don't be scared, now."
Four Twenty good buddy.... oops, I mean Ten Four good buddy...
"Are there any recent (i.e. post-1980's) exceptions to this rule?"
I think Rick Shroeder (Silver Spoons), Kirk Cameron (Growing Pains) and Lisa Welchel (Facts of Life) have done ok.
Again, if he was driving while impaired, why wasn't he charged with it?
And how exactly does this provide support for the policy of criminalizing at-home use?
