You did learn about it in publik skrewl. It was the lesson that went like this: "In 1944 the United States killed countless innocent Japanese when we dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and one other place. It was at that point that other nations around the world began to realize that the United States is a bully."

End of lesson. No Jews, no concentration camps, no Pearl Harbor, no bagpipes in Normandy.

I remember that. Actually I was born in 1954 so most of my public schooling was done with mostly the unrevised truth! We used to pray every morning and say the Pledge of Allegiance too!

yeah that is the lesson that I got kick out of class for in public high school when I confronted the teacher with three different books that were actually written by people that served in WWII and gave I witness accounts, and also included an account written by my grandfather. The teach refuse to accept it and sent me to the principles office for disrupting the class with lies... I remember that!
