As if there's a "good" terrorist as opposed to a "bad" terrorist? C'mon. Let's get serious here.
with iraq, bush can think, oops! maybe sadamm wasn't that much of a terrorist; but what the hell, better safe than sorry.
Bzzzzt. Wrong. Saddam was a tyrant. He ruled his subjects with an iron fist, and killed them at the drop of a hat. He threatened his neighbors, invaded them on a whim, and was actively working on WMD to use against them and US assets in the region.
the american reponse to threats has been one of using military muscle. it is almost a reflex reponse.
You have another option? Especially when diplomacy doesn't work?
Then again, the antithetical definition of diplomacy is the best way of saying "Nice doggie" until you can reach the biggest stick you can to bash his brains out.
this is why i think most americans will stand by bush in the reelection. bush is doing, acting, and responding to the world terrorists with an american style. as if dirty harry were president or the character john wayne played in the movie the longest day was the president or the character played by harrison ford in the movie witness, especially the scene where harrison ford's character punched a punk in the nose!
As if that were a "bad thing?"
bush's reponse to the terrorist shows the world that the united states will take action and that the blood of thousands of american troops shall bleed blazing red to give a clear biological warning sign of DANGER to all of the earth.
Boy are you clueless. Blood of American troops? Nope. Try the blood of the terroists, moron.
Been nice chatting with you though.
Bye, troll.
I should point out that the AUC is technically designated a terrorist group by the State Department.
Never mind the fact that its founder, as part of Los Pepes, ripped out the infrastructure of the Medellin drug cartel.
Never mind that the AUC concentrated its efforts on wiping out FARC, which has killed American citizens in various terrorist attacks, and whose leadership has bragged about wanting to carry out more on videotape.
Never mind that the AUC has, according to the State Department "generally avoided" attacking Americans and Ameican interests.
The AUC found its way on the same blacklist as FARC and al-Qaeda anyhow.
