Buckeyes' record may be 2-0, but they're 0-7 in turnovers

If No. 9 Ohio State continues to play the way it has in its first two games, it's doubtful the Buckeyes will remain unbeaten for long.

In wins over Cincinnati and Marshall, the Buckeyes have not forced a turnover while they've committed seven giveaways.

That puts them No. 116 and next to last in the nation in turnover margin at minus-3.5 per game.

NC State this Sat. Doesn't look very good for the Buckeyes, unfortunately. Likely not to repeat the beautiful heart attack triple OT game last year.

But, aside from the fact I'm fond of the Buckeyes, I must point out that Jim Tressel is the coach. And he likes teaching football teams something called 'field position'.

And he likes teaching his teams what winning feels like.

Buckeyes over the WolfPack, 21-14.

fwiw, Dan Rather, CBS ... John Kerry....


They could take a lesson about 'field position' ... like not giving up ground voluntarily.

But, I'm really, really glad that they don't understand the lessons of football!!!!
