i was sitting in the orthodontist's office this week, reading the Falls Church PRAVDA PRESS, a ludicrously leftwing little rag, and i was apoplectic at the editorial page. A paul krugman article, a helen thomas article, Nicholas Benton, editorial by the red-diaper editor of the piece of crap paper and Moron's letter to his constituents.
Yech! I'd have been tempted to set fire to the rag right there in the waiting room just to see what everyone would do.
I went to see my lawyer (and neighbor) yesterday and took her a list of things found wrong with my roof (ridge cap and flashings not sealed, etc.) and a copy of the invoice from the guy that fixed it. She's going to send a registered letter to the roofing company who installed it demanding that he repay us for the repairs and the damages caused by his shoddy work or be taken to court. She said that since he has been in business for so long, he will probably cough up the money-because if it goes to court, judges in this county are notorious for ruling in favor of county residents rather than companies and individuals from SA. Here's hoping...
