One of the problems with all these documentary and fictional police forensics shows (e.g. "Cold Case", "CSI") is that they're helping to "school" murderers on what not to do. Murderer Peterson had thoroughly cleaned his home immediately after his wife "went missing". No one's going to find buckets of blood there. The prosecution should have taken up Vincent Bugliosi's offer to present their case.
So true, in a race for ratings the networks will do shows oh how vulnerable certain sites are which simply identifies them for the terrorists or anyone who wants to do evil. Apparently Scott has been watching all those shows and gotten some "pointers" as to how to pull off this little caper except nobody taught him how to act afterwards so he is failing miserably at that.
I don't think he necessarily even drew blood when he killed her, possibly vomit or if the trauma caused her to go into premature labor, amniotic fluid seems more likely.
"The prosecution should have taken up Vincent Bugliosi's offer to present their case."
Bugliosi offered to try this case? Really? How dumb if it is true and they didn't take him up on it. He is brilliant, and Scotty and Geragos wouldn't have a prayer against him. Please tell me more - I hadn't heard this little tidbit. Thanks!
