I was a kid during the Vietnam years, but even then I could grasp the notion that National Guardsmen still were part of the U.S. Armed Forces, were subject to being called overseas to combat duty, and deserved our respect for their service. Why is this so difficult for a former Navy Reservist like Kerry to understand?

We know he understands, the question is, why does this duplicitous reprobate think he can get away with calling people who enlisted in the Guard cowards and deserters?
I'd like to ask Kerry, Navy Reservist, who took your place when you bugged out after four months?
