CBS's Handwriting Expert is Not.
Posted on 09/10/2004 7:31:53 PM PDT by peeeyejoe
Mately is a graphologist. Not a Certified Questioned Document Examiner. He's not qualified to make handwriting comparisons. No attorney would use him as an expert witness--they'd get blown out of the water. I've been in law enforcement, and a private investigator working mostly in criminal defense. He is not a Certified Document Examiner. As an example, this is the C.V. of a typical CDE. http://qdewill.com/cv.htm

And, though it's been posted elsewhere, it's worth noting again that the CBS "expert" seems to have a bit of experience in legal subterfuge as indicated
here.

Why is it that every 3rd post is by someone signing up today? Probably not why you suspect. It's probably because freerepublic.com has been mentioned all over the place in the last 24 hours as the place where it was first noticed that these documents might be forgeries. Many people probably heard about FR for the first time and signed up.

That is true about some, but an unusual number of Zots have been going on.
While I have long been against it, and I heavily leaning toward thinking that one should have to reach a minimum number of posts before being allowed to start a thread.

Matley's C. V. is a snow job. He's a hack. And after reading some of your posts, yes, I did join and then post. And my info is valid. With all due respect to the other members of this group.
