And, though it's been posted elsewhere, it's worth noting again that the CBS "expert" seems to have a bit of experience in legal subterfuge as indicated here.

I believe sign up dates are based on GMT.

Probably not why you suspect. It's probably because freerepublic.com has been mentioned all over the place in the last 24 hours as the place where it was first noticed that these documents might be forgeries. Many people probably heard about FR for the first time and signed up.

No. He is not qualified to make handwriting comparisons a good lawyer would rip him a new one if he testified as an 'expert.'
