Can someone bring me up to speed on FreeRepublic's role in this? I watched Brit Hume, so I have an idea of what's going on. Who produced the documents which appear to be phony.

My husband's been in the hospital, and I've been busy today getting him home. He's okay. I log on here, and I'm overwhelmed with all the threads. If someone could even post a link to a few threads that best describe what's happened, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

A number of us sent links to the unfolding story late the morning - early this afternoon to FoxNews people - as I did, to someone who I have sent mail to and received replies from in the past.

Jenya, a freeper named TankerKC articulated his suspicions about the authenticity of the documents during a live thread around 7:20 pm CST last night. Freeper Howlin started a new thread dedicated to discussing the issues about 8:45 pm last night and the busybody/sleuth/gumshoes here started putting their collective expertise and conspiratorial natures into work and the Bloggers picked up our discussion early this morning and it zoomed into history from there.

Jenya, I'm pretty savy but confused on this subject too. Don't feel bad, your not alone.

I even worked for IBM selling typewriters but I never gave a hoot on what kind of typing balls that came with the machines. I remember when we switched to typing wheels, forget what year.

Proportional spacing was a big issue somewhere along the line. I hated it. Thought it looked jumbled. But it saved space on the pages.

You, sweet Jenya, take care of your husband first. Your one hell of a great lady.

I remain confused on this issue.
