I'm not crazy, all of my neighbors were coming out into the street to see what was going on.

It's actually Kerry's campaign plane...looking for a friendly crowd.

Why are UFOs always spotted by regular folk in Kansas or Missouri? ;-)

We live very near the airport in St. Louis. Generally, at least once a month, we get to see the Missouri Air Guard come out and do various drills, touch-and-go landings, etc., and, believe me, the noise is significant. Folks at the house tend to freak out from it, but we're so used to it we don't notice it most of the time. :-)

I'm nowhere near you, but it's not at all unusual to see and hear low-flying fighter jets where I live.

By fighter-jet standards, I'm close to an AFB and they always approach from the same direction, heading the same direction.

I used to live in KC and I once saw a B2 from Whiteman fly right over Westport.

If I had to guess I'd say that they brought in some sort of portable anti-aircraft radar for Bush's visit and they're calibrating it.
