To lay among the flowers, To smell the fresh clean air. To have no doubts or worries, To live without a care. We had that in our young days, Before we grew up fast. We need it more than ever, But cant live in the past. So I propose a simple task, To make us all feel great. Get out there on the back roads, Pull off the interstate. Find a field and park the car, Take off your shoes and run. Sit beside a little stream, Watch the clouds, its fun. We cant be kids but we can play, And shed our cares and fears. Thank the Lord for all you have, Be glad for all the years.
