Work is progressing on the Ascender, our high altitude platform. Once a future project for us, a subcontract from the Air Force for a proof-of-concept flight has accelerated our efforts in advancing our platform and airship technology.
Pictured here is a small version of the ship, named the Ascender, which we flew in last year. It is under remote control and flying untethered.
We have built a series of three prototypes. One 20 feet long, the second 93 feet long and the third 175 feet long.
