Before surgery, Bill Clinton should ask forgiveness for . . . . . . .

Previous thread --- SUGGESTED LETTER TO AMERICA FROM BILL CLINTON

Now, it is your turn. Bill Clinton faces his mortality and is about to undergo serious surgery. If you were his spiritual advisor (no, not Jesse Jackson), what you advise him? What has he done for what he should seek forgiveness?

I am getting ready for Mass and hope to enjoy this thread when I get back. Have at it.

I'd advise him to eat up!

And I'd make sure he knew that the all Krispy Kremes and Big Macs he could eat were just up the stairs...

This way Bill...hurry up, Bubba, burger's gettin' cold, let's go!

Whatever he has done wrong, is already done. It's his choice whether to ask for forgiveness. For all we know, he may have already asked for forgiveness. It's not for me to judge him.

I once heard clinton state that he believes in deathbed conversion.

I am not sure if that is a tenet of his religion or not....but I wonder if he will repent for his sins.

As for her heinous, there is no heart or soul to be redeemed....IMO

Sorry Doug, but I would say this is the most tasteless post ever.
I respect and admire many of your points and posts, but this one I would say has no practical value. Clinton is a flawed human. That really makes him no different from me. Our differences and disagreements were of a political nature, and as a Christian I find it difficult to suggest to anyone what they need to apologize for in life. I have my own apologies to mind.
I think that just as the ABB crowd goes too far into partisanship to the detriment of this country, so have we in regards to Fmr. Pres. Clinton. I disagree still with many of his activities in the White House, but I realize that more political hay was made of his dalliances than the actual political and strategic problems that began under his Administration. I have to also adjust my positions on him as a Democrat, since he was not NEARLY the leftist that Kerry is.
Truthfully, if this was a race between Bush, Clinton and Kerry, Kerry would get .005% of the vote. Mr Clinton had his problems, but if my choice was 4 more of Clinton or 4 of Kerry at the helm, I would gladly vote Clinton. Since Bush is in the running, thankfully, I don't have to do that.

To Mr. Clinton:

Get well, Mr. President.
And lay off the hamburgers.

I actually put up a post encouraging prayer for him. I hope he pulls through.

I would ask him to seek God's thoughts with regard to the death of millions of innocent unborn children. Repent, and promise to fight for these little ones.

Clinton was going to hit the campaign trail hard in October. He was supposedly going on a barnstorming tour of the country with Kerry. Now Bill sits in a hospital while Hillary stands outside seemingly without a care in the world. The operation was on, was off, was delayed by Labor Day and is now back on.

I hadn't given a whole lot of thought to this before but a quick review is interesting. Kerry is ahead in some polls by 7% after the Democratic Convention, Clintonista's move in and more or less assume key positions, a month later Bush walks out of the Republican Convention with an 11% lead (18% swing). Now Bill has heart problems and can't barnstorm with Kerry and Hillary will probably not campaign so she can be near Bill.

So the 2 most popular Democrats in the country sabotage Kerry from within and come up with an airtight alibi to sit on the sidelines until after Election Day.

The best part is that John Kerry is such a maroon he spends 90 minutes on the phone with Bill, the architect of his demise, who advises Kerry to drop the cornerstone of his campaign, Vietnam. Kerry has no other place to go with his campaign, Vietnam is the linchpin of his Fit for Command strategy.

How do you spell Bush Landslide?
