I don't believe what I just heard Larry King say. He was talking with President George H.W. Bush about the Swift Boat controversy. President Bush stated that he was more concerned about what Kerry said about Vietnam Veterans 33 years ago. In the course of his comments President Bush noted it was 60 years ago today he was shot down. Larry King said, "I guess you don't forget those kind of things."
Bush was a navy pilot and shot down in WWII. I think he spend some time lost at sea. I remember it as a harrowing story.
