The first horse we went to see was a sad case... pretty old (at least 16) and quite lame - really bad feet. Even I could tell that the horse did not want to even move, let alone trot. The owner kept trying to tell us it was just a bad set of shoes, but Hair wasn't buyin' that. She managed to refrain from ripping the owner a new orifice for trying to sell a horse in that condition. Just heartbreaking, really. Someday I want to have a place where we can take in charity cases like that, and give them a good retirement. Maybe if I win on Jeopardy. ;~)

okaaay. But basements are really handy places. Hey, they are putting a basement under a house up the street from us. It is really interesting to watch, if one is into that kind of thing, like us here in the center of the shire.
