Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Pass them by! Pass them by!
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Good morning!
I'm gonna spend the day alternately excited and depressed, because some part of my mind is CONVINCED that it's Friday. So I keep thinking "Tonight I'm gonna...! Oh...wait...no. Today is Thursday and I have class." "Oooh, tomorrow morning I get to...! Oh...never mind. Tomorrow I have to work." Grrrr...
But it's payday! So that's positive...
And I have coffee! ~sip~

Thanks! Hopefully class won't run too long...
Usually we get done a little after seven, which means I get home by seven thirty or so. When does the debate officially start?

It was just two little bitty pictures. LOL!!
300wm was curious about their crest, so I asked and this what he says:
Kim, The "Strike Hold" flaming sword is the Regimental Crest of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment - the Devils in Baggy Pants. Our Battalion supports the 504th PIR and our Battalion crest is attached above in the Microsoft Word file.

I think since I started back in August, I've only missed one or two (week) days at the gym.
Donuts are evil.

Well, if I was on the schedule I wanted to be on, I'd be up an hour sooner with time to read and check in online. I haven't made that yet.
