Friday would be good...but I'm not looking forward to it because it's going to be an all-day travel experience in the area of standing in long lines at airports. Between busses and waiting and the actual trip back to the NW, it'll be 12 hours of travelling. But I'll have three days off to celebrate my 24th anniversary when I get home!

South Park is on! Tonight's episode is Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride. Wish it came on earlier in the evening here. But Big'ol is considering getting a DVR... and this is one of the shows I'd record. Muahahaaaa.

Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure. has just been written on my whiteboard. Just below "Illegitimi non carborundum" which is pseudo-Latin for "Don't let the bastards grind you down" and apparantly one of Barry Goldwater's favorite sayings. And just above "!Serenidad Ahora!" which is espanol for "Serenity Now!"
Keep 'em guessing, I always say.

Good morning!
Sigh...I'm stressing today 'cause last night I got my home insurance bill for the year and it's quite literally double what it was last year and not something I can pay, AND they want a lump sum rather than monthly payments. I'm calling the insurance place in a few minutes to see what can be done (maybe switching companies will help?)...but definitely feeling down. I was actually doing almost OK financially for awhile there.
On the positive side, I guess it behooves them to work out an arrangement, humiliating as it might be for me to have to ask for it. I doubt I'll get thrown in jail over an insurance bill...
But outside of that, it's a lovely day, I just had a swell breakfast, and I have anime to watch later - your package arrived, Jen! Heh...I got a kick out of your address label.

You're a pal! ;-)
OK, the gal at the insurance place is going to look for a better rate (seemed to think just about ANYWHERE else could do better for me), and I also mentioned I'd prefer a monthly or quarterly payment and she said that should be possible. So...maybe the world isn't as dark as I thought.

My property tax is worked into my mortgage...which I'm MOSTLY grateful for. But insurance has always been separate. HOWEVER before it's only been a very small number and not that big of a deal.

No, no picture. It's so pale blue it would just come across as white.
But when I showed it to Steve he just busted out laughing...said "Well, looks like she figured out how to do it!" LOL Honestly, the ones we were getting were only slightly bigger than robin's eggs!

Good morning, so far, I think. Or rather I don't yet because I need food and cafeeeene.

Having opinions before having your morning caffeine can be dangerous.
