Oh, and right before we sat down to eat (and before we realized some of the chicken didn't get done), I had warmed up Joshua's corn for him...so it worked before I tried to warm up the chicken.
You'd better not touch your car for a week or too, just in case your jinx affects that too...

Good morning! Another busy day ahead...first I have church, then we're going to grab lunch quickly and go to part of the LOTR marathon the church is having this afternoon, then we're playing a concert at another church this evening. It'll be a full day!
Tomorrow will be nicely relaxing. I'm still hoping I can do at least a short hike with some nice views in it.
I just heard on Fox that an elevated section of I-95 (over the water?) had collapsed. Hair, if you're awake, please see if you can get in touch with folks ... worried here!
LOL! I was thinking about that...."yep...a few cans of Woodlawn Bedroom White oughta take care of it." Actually, I think it was all that drapery they're using. I haven't found any pictures of it on the Web.
Ruthy and Sam and trini were all fine last night in Miami.
I wish I could contact Kevin. I left my number with him, but the number I had to call him is disconnected. Must have changed since Entmoot and he didn't give the new one!

The breeze at our house has already taken on some southwesterly direction, which is a sure sign that the storm is beginning to move west to the north of us, thankfully.
I wonder about 95. Was talking to Jeanne about it last night, figuring it might be out of commission in places, which would seriesly complicate things if we decide to flee before the next hurricane, due here next weekend, I think.
This is worrying... how far from ksen is this section of collapsed road? That doesn't sound like minor damage to me...
I haven't seen a story or footage of the road collapse. I don't know where it is.
We don't even know if ksen stayed in town or went North.
Sigh... we need to give him "hurricane protocol" so next time we don't have to worry like this.

Can't believe they didn't shut off the power before it hit. Lots of lines down and they don't know which are live.
