No, Jeanne is no Andrew that's for sure.
I'm not religious by a long-shot, but most certainly a believer! *grin*
I still think God's chasing the commies outta Florida to ensure a Bush landslide.
hehehehe... well... I never said I liked it... :-)
Oh... and like you never wore a polyester shirt... :-P c'mon... somewhere there's a picture of you in a leisure suit. :-)
Of course Andrew was a tropical storm if I remember right, a relatively few days before landfall. Can't remember exactly how many, though.
The only way I could handle Thomas Hardy is listening on audio tape. I listened to "Return of the Native", narrated by Alan Rickman. Now THAT was nice. But I know what you mean about his characters. They have even worse days than Corin! ;o)
I didn't make ya pink! the map people did!
I do not now, nor have I ever owned, a leisure suit, or a polyester shirt... remember... I was a lowlife in hi skool...
I expect it from a coastie... yer heterosexuality is always in question...
I needtuh have "werds" with the map geeks...
Andrew's intensification was really incredible. I think he went from tropical storm to cat 5 in 3-4 days....
weather underground says it went from tropical storm to cat 5 in two days, they may not have that right.
g'nad! feelin' your oats tonight or something?
Hmmm...that seems a little ~too~ quick. But I do remember it was fast!
SSQ and I met at a Music Ministry weekend. We were both guitarists for our respective parishes, and after the first evening's session, several of us sat around and just played and sang. "Rocky Mountain High" was popular then, so we sang that, and I always associate that song with that weekend now. That one and "Cowgirl in the Sand".
I was thinkin' the same thing! *laughing*
Where's mrsnad when we need her! This man needs soothing! ;-)
Now there's a motivator, if I ever heard one!
heh... lucky fer you all, I'm beckoned...
IThe storms will certainly delay the double voting snowbirds!
The Lord heard our plea! G'night g'nad!
Hurricane season isn't over until the end of November. I'm hoping they'll stay up north through Thanksgiving and then come down....well after the election is over and Bush is re-elected!
No... that's the *Navy*... remember? :-P
Mandatory [snif] thread...
