The whole Koran is a mistranslation of the Bible. Those who claim that muslims pray to the same god as Jews and Christians ignore the Mohammed rewrote (or was "handed") the Bible rewritten to suit his whims.
Islam is an "anti-Christian" religion even if Mohammed was not THE anti-Christ. It is designed to lead the flock away from Christ in the name of good. Jews deny that Jesus was divine, they are still awaiting the first coming. Muslims acknowledge some significance in Jesus but deny the divinity (that He's the Son of God) and the resurrection (without it we are all doomed). If Jesus is not who He said He was, then He was a liar/fraud and a false messiah. If He was God incarnate then it is the single most important event in human history. I don't buy Mohammed's "claim" that the Bible got it wrong.
Not quite ~ Mohammad never received a complete copy of even a single Gospel. This was the Dark Ages, and at best he had partial transcripts of New Testament Letters, possibly the Book of Proverbs (although not in Aramaic or Hebrew), and maybe chunks and bits of a Torah buried hundreds of years before somewhere in the vicinity of Mecca.
The "72 Virgins" story is NOT PART OF THE KORAN. Instead, it is in an Hadith, and these items are simply stories about the life and times of the Prophet. Many of them were made up for political purposes, or inheritance (the prize being the Islamic state ~ see Shia).
No Christian should place great faith in the reliability of any Hadith! Few reflective Moslems do. Most folks, though, keep their mouths shut because there are these ignoramuses out there who will kill you for criticizing the Koran or the Hadiths.
The "72 Virgins" story is one of the more questionable items in the collection.
