What a day !! I went to the two largest book chains in the country and what an experience !! First, Barnes and Noble has the book but it's not on sale, for some reason. I told the manager that the book is #1 on the NY Times Bestseller list and all of those books are discounted. But not "Unfit For Command." So I told them I would go to Borders.....what a mistake !!!
No book. They have a waiting list for reserve copies. As I asked the store clerk why they don't have the #1 book in the country, some maggot-infested, dope-smoking, lefty whirls around and starts shouting at the top of his lungs that the "right wing, capitalist pig republicans didn't print enough books." I said, "Do you work here?" Of course he didn't work there. I asked if he was upset that the book was #1, but he continued to rant and rave. Just then, another customer walked up and told the lefty to watch his language and calm down.
I told the store manager that the man was an embarassment and should have been escorted off the premises. But she said nothing. So I told her she just lost a customer. All I wanted was a book !! lol
Well, at least you didn't make the liberal cry.
I ordered mine at Amazon last night but it will take 7 days to ship it.
We went to Costco...they had the Unfit For Command, but few...so I set several of them on top of bubbas book. My Lies
My hubby got Tommy Franks book at Costco...I can't wait til he finishes it
My daughter brought a copy from the local library where it was hiding on a low shelf.
;-)
Hey, that's my daily goal in life!
ROFL!
An admirable goal it is...
It took me several book stores to find Ollie North's book War Stories.
Costco. Friday lunchtime. Big stack. No problem. Bought a hotdog on the way out.
