Hi!
Tell you what, after my heart surgery I had to go back several times to get my medication straight but once it was I was off to the races. I was my own worst enemy and felt like the attack was not serious till one day my doctor sat me down and told me 'I almost lost you during surgery' and goodness gracious, how that conversation changed my life.
You are so right, you get this close to death and it sure makes you look to God more than ever for all your answers, least wise I do.

Thanks to each of you...
I said the same thing about the meds to my son last evening. I am keeping a record of my BP (on a spreadsheet) so I'll have a copy to present to the doctor.
Perhaps it is the additional meds that he has me on for my BP meds have not changed... he even cut them in half.
Toby... I think and pray for you regularly. Would caution you to take it easy "on the farm". Thankfully, both this time and in 1991 I got to the hospital before I had a heart attack. The tests earlier this month showed no heart muscle damage.
Guennie... I'm usually not napping except between 1-3pm.
