Saturday, I went to a local Borders, half expecting not to find "Unfit..." I searched the store and was ready to ask the Customer Service rep. for the books whereabouts, and then I saw their sign:

"Unfit for Command is our currently our top selling non-fiction title. We sell out quickly. Please reserve your copy today. Shipments arrive on Monday."

I was pleased, and glad that I could still shop at Borders. Where else would I buy my copies of "Backwoods Home" and "Hobby Farms?"

I just went into my local B&N and found UNFIT FOR COMMAND sitting on the "Current Affairs" table in the center of the store. When I came in, I asked the lady at the customer service kiosk if they had the book and she took me straight to it. somemoreequalthanothers pinged me here because he's one of those conspiracy theory nuts. If a book is popular, stores will sell it; doesn't matter if it's a B&N, Borders, B. Dalton's, Waldenbooks, or what have you.

"Ooh, ooh! My local B&N has only ONE copy on UfC, but TWO copies of MY LIFE up front! BOYCOTT!" "Ooh, ooh, they didn't offer to order the book for me within 0.45647 seconds of my asking for it! BOYCOTT!!"

Ridiculous.
