I saw and earlier post about his win. It still hadn't played on the west coast yet. I'm so glad I watched the whole thing. But I can hardly believe my eyes. Except there's tears in them.

Unbelievable. A fantastic victory!

Morgan, and especially Paul, put our little burg of Waukesha on the MAP!!

Congrats on a great come-back.

I know they don't live around here anymore (training in Denver, I believe), but I hope Waukesha has a gold medal parade for him. I'd go!

It happened a few years ago against the Sacramento Kings in game six of the Western Finals. He made his first 10 free throws --- CLICK.

And the gymnastics world isn't really "tiny" either - there are over 70,000 registered competitors with the national federation, USA Gymnastics, in all the disciplines: mens artistic, womens artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and tumbling, sports acro. And that doesn't include all the kids participating just at the recreational (non-competitive) level - not to mention the coaches, etc.

And watch for those numbers to spike. That's what happened after the USA mens team took team gold in 1984, and same for Mary Lou Retton's gold medalist efforts in the same year.

It was amazing. I was so disgusted when he fell at the end of the vault. But I kept watching and cheering when everyone else made mistakes (I know, that was mean). There's no other way to describe it other than "amazing".
