The guy is off the wall. Here he was bragging to Frey that he was in Paris, then Brussells, then Madrid, etc. and this is while the search for his missing wife is going on. It must be very difficult for Laci's family to realize just how much he didn't give a damn about her and his child. He wanted to have no responsibilities and an exciting new imaginary life as a jet-setter with a bimbo girlfriend. But listening to her talking with that little-girl voice, mentioning going to church and how good it was for her was surreal also.

Mark Geragos struck gold by defending Susan McDougal pro bono. When he acted as attack dog while she flipped the bird at a federal grand jury investigating Whitewater and she went to prison (making her "Joan of Arkansas" to the Slick-friendly media), it made him a rising media star and a hero among Clintonoids.
Guys like Geragos are set for life when they get their face in the news constantly even if they lose. F. Lee Bailey blew the defense of Patty Hearst. Marvin Michelson lost the Lee Marvin/Michelle Triola case. They remain legends of star-studded jurisprudence.
