Enterprise was supposed to have been mothballed last season for good. Its been resurrected and I think it'll make it through a full seven seasons now. I keep thinking of the final line in the Wrath Of Khan where Kirk muses about returning to the Mutara Sector again. Well it goes on to show Star Trek is far from dead. The final frontier lives on. And yes, I thought Shatner's Priceline commercial was his best ever. His being surprised by Leonard was the highlight moment!

Wishful thinking, Enterprise will not get beyond season 4... the only reason UPN even picked it up was because they slashed the price per episode to insanely low levels. THis was done by the production company to get season 4 in the can so they would have 100 episodes and be able to sell its reruns into syndication.
Enterprise will not make another season, at least not another season on non Cable broadcast TV... I suppose it is possible that a cable network might pick it up after this season with original episodes, but I wouldn't bet on it. Sadly they took an reasonable premise and promptly put it in the toilet.
However as bad as Enterprise has been, at least it has not been as bad as the worst ST ever.... Voyager... 7 years and the only character remotely worthwhile was the damned hologram.
