Well, yes it could (and I didn't add my usual admonishment not to check the source code!) But that's OK, this was just for fun. More commonly, this was part of the "Great Falls of the Columbia" that was covered by waters behind the Dalles Dam. In this anniversary year of the Lewis and Clark expedition, I just happened to think of it. (Last week's Geology Picture of the Week was of the Great Falls of the Potomac; I was also wondering how many "Great Falls" there actually are in the United States. Offhand I can think of the Great Falls of the Potomac, Cumberland, and Missouri, and former Great Falls of the Columbia, shown here.)
