Alley Goes on Offensive About Weight (Kirsttie Alley's un PC comments on Fat)

NEW YORK — Kirstie Alley (search) has pulled a switch-a-roo on the tabloids. After many photographs splashed in different celebrity magazines documented her noticeable weight gain, the former "Cheers" (search) actress is going on the offensive. With her new Showtime show, "Fat Actress," (search) to begin filming this fall, Alley is by no means shirking the attention to her weight problem. But that's not to say she's happy with her appearance. Alley told People magazine: "The weird thing is, I don't like the way I look — and I like who I am. I like who I am better than I've ever liked myself." The 53-year-old actress says that her weight is 203 pounds, not the frequently cited 300 pounds. Still, she completely accepts responsibility for her situation. "I don't consider fat a disease. I mean, c'mon, who had the (expletive) gun to my head? Nobody! What gene in my body says I have to eat four cakes instead of two? It's a choice." Alley can't stand the media's or Hollywood's perspective on weight. "My weight in the rags in being treated like a tragedy," she said. "Tragedies in my mind would be like AIDS, starvation, illiteracy, child abuse."

So you must have missed the midget in the clown suit who had the trapeze and the pool of jello with the blender running in it?

LOL! She's all yours. Any chance you'll throw me some skinny chicks? (And no...Not as skinny as Ann Coulter. Her face is pretty, but I too need at least a little meat...My one rule is, thighs MUST be bigger around than calves!!).

Only to heretics.

The main conflict between the two paths is a disagreement on the color of the jello.

Green jello is more mellow and is, therefore, conducive to Skoozish enlightenment. While the Lazamtazics continue to soil themselves with the blasphemous red jello.

Instead of four German chocolate cakes, Kirstie, try a glass of lime Kool Aid with some baloney strips floating in it. Curbs your hunger, everytime. Heck, we survived on it back in the Boy Scouts in the 50s, at summer camp. No fatsos, us.

We have a spinoff sect that likes orange.

So we're in the market yesterday and my wife picks up the tabloid with Kirstie's wide-load picture all over the cover and says, "Am I this fat?"

Gentlemen, is there any right answer to this question?

Whoa...that's hard to believe. I mean her being 53 and all.

"She lives a very lavish, even by Hollywood standards, lifestyle. Her desire to throw "world class parties" twice a month was the primary reason cited by her ex husband in their divorce, which the "smoking gun" website details."

- Biography had a special on her a few months ago. You are right, she and her then husband ran through an enormous pile of money by living a lavish life style - but one of the reasons for the marriage breakup was that it was mostly all her money since he was unemployed most of the time. She is outspoken (especially blunt about other actresses - a Hollywood no no), she subscribes to a kooky religion and, oh yes, she spent a lot of the time in her 20's hooked on drugs.
However, to be sexist about the whole thing, she still comes across as a lady who is an unabashed heterosexual and looks forward for any chance to prove it. That throaty voice; those bedroom eyes! Gentlemen, start your engines!
