PC is back from hospital, but I think it still has a few tumors which will require some surgery. Got the XP Pro upgrade, which is good, but retrieving all my previously saved files has proven extremely difficult. Getting my modem to function has been exceptionally futile.

To make matters worse, I have tax clients with an 8/15 due date.....$#!T.

Meanwhile, I am sputtering along with my 7 yo Dell PC, which is currently running low on kerosene, so will need to stop now and refill it.

Be back ASAP.

My sympathies for your computer anguish-it is indeed frustrating and time consuming.
