One evening, I met a woman in a bar. She took me home that night, and I never left! We have been married and in love with each other for 17 years now. Some people might get the idea you never sobered up ;-) Same thing with me, but I took her home. Wever been married 2 1/2 years with a 2 mo. old girl. We are totally in love and I could never be with anyone else.

Some people might get the idea you never sobered up ;-) How do I say this: After 17 years, I hope like hell that my wife and I never sober up.

Actually, in the year 2000, my wife had a horrible auto accident. Both of her leg bones were thrust through her hips and nobody expected her to ever walk again.

If anything, that made me fall in love with my wife all over again.

For six months, we could not put any weight upon her legs. But as her loving husband, I was able to invent things to let her know that her life was not over.

We purchased a junk wheel chair, and I would wheel her down a boat ramp until she was in water deep enough to float.

Now picture this: A crippled woman taken down a boat ramp in a wheel chair. Is this man trying to drown her?

Once my wife was deep enough to float, she was able to exit the wheel chair. She was then able to put on her SCUBA diving equipment, and we had a wonderful time together.

If you love someone, you will do everything possible to make that person proud of them-self.

Love and marriage is not about you! It is about making the person you love feel good about them-self.

One evening at a bar, I found the perfect woman for me. I honestly hope that someday, you will find that special person, like I did.
