I am wondering how people have responded so quickly. I am at work, and I do a refresh on the screen every minute or so. Am I missing something?
Welcome to Free Republic! This place has thousands of people reading it all the time. You will always get very quick responses here. No, you're not missing anything. As a matter of fact, by being here you're "getting" everything--and quickly to boot!
The reason people have responded so quickly is because you started a whole new thread to ask your question which makes it scroll down the Latest Posts page. This is where everyone checks to see what's being talked about on FR.
If you had asked your question inside one of the numerous threads already running, you wouldn't have gotten the response you did. Don't worry about it...it happens.
Develop a thick skin...ignore the rude ones...
