The thing is, if the GOP and the Bush campaign was tied in anyway to getting this other side of the story out, then it would be a PR/media disaster. It would be portrayed as 'Bush the possible deserter' versus the war hero.

The only way for this to matter at all is for the media to give some coverage to it, and I don't think the chances for that are very high.

Of course it is valid and relevant because of the constant reminders to Kerry's service offered by the Dems.

This link was posted on Michael Savage's website after one of the members of this group called into his radio program this evening...so it is getting out...we can do our part by spreading it to any media you think will give it its due. Hopefully someone will run with it.

That effect might be blunted a bit if they just spoke out in support of Bush and refrained from attacking Kerry (at the convention). Also, just their appearance there amongst the other veterans would have an impact, as long as they were identified by the media.
