Starstop

If you happen to be cruising, out among the stardust,
And are looking for a place to stop, to slake your wanderlust.
I’d like to recommend this Place, for all its open minds,
It’s just the perfect spot for a star-traveler who unwinds.

Just sit and listen for awhile, you’ll notice that we ramble,
And then step up and hold the mike, and have a little gamble.
You’ll find that we won’t criticize your distant way of thinking,
For all of us have relatives who’ve done a little drinking.

We’ll listen to your story with polite attentive nods,
As if we had just been there in our personal starship pods.
For we are stellar lovers who would flit about the stars,
It’s only our bad luck that we are stuck here in our cars.

Hi all. Not sure if you have read this joke, but I thought it was a good place to post it. Enjoy. :)

A teacher in a Vermont town asks her class how many of them are John Kerry fans. Wanting to be liked by the teacher, all the kids raise their hands except one boy.

The teacher asks him why he has to be different. He says, "I'm not a John Kerry fan." The teacher says, "Why not?" The boys says, "I'm a George Bush fan." The teacher asks, "Why?" The boy says, "Well, my mom's a Bush fan and my dad's a Bush fan, so I'm a Bush fan!"

The teacher is kind of angry because this IS Vermont; so she asks, "What if your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, what would that make you?" To which the boy replies, "That would make me a John Kerry fan."
