BITTEN BY THE MUDBUG

Got bit by the Mudbug
Right down to the bone,
My knees are a knocking,
Gotta get to a phone.
Start to push the buttons
Because it just hit me,
Need a new lift kit,
Call J.C. Whitney.
My skin is a tingling,
WOW, what a flash,
Need to find mud,
And make a big splash.
The top is off
And the mud's gonna smear,
On the outside and inside,
Oh no, not in my ear!
Banned from the carwash,
That bug is so mean,
With this damn infection
My Jeep is never clean.
In the middle of nowhere,
Might need a little luck,
No clue on directions
For the guy in the tow truck.
That bug is active
With the very first thaw,
Splishing and a splashing
Until the late fall
Most of the time
That bug can be found,
But when the cold comes
He is no where around.
Thanks to the winter,
He changes you know,
Mud's lots of fun,
But so is the snow.
Infected by the Mudbug,
I hope it never heals,
No itching and no scratching,
I like the way it feels.
