Summer Days

A masterful painting
Of colors exhibited
On the horizon
Above the empty lawn chair
Sitting alone on
The lonely endless extended stretch
Along the sandy beach
As evening comes
To this tropical paradise,
Where many come
To escape reality,
To find romance
Or to seek love
But if they did not
Bring it with them
They probably will
Not find it here, but
You never know
What lies ahead,
How much heat
Will be experienced or
Who might be waiting during
These long, hot
Summer days.

Morning Sam.
Lovely beach scene. I am so far inland I never get to the beach.
Nice little poem, too. Thanks for tunes, Breakfast and poetry.
