Why, thank you kindly! Long answer - my best friend and co-worker has been a Freeper for a couple of years and she used to send me clippings which I greatly enjoyed reading. I always loved the funny political photos and captions too.

I was too intimidated to sign up though... I'm not too much of a computer person and have never posted on political sites, chat rooms, or anything like that. This week, however, I noticed lots of other new people who were asking questions. Friday night, after returning from working a GOP booth, I finally, finally hit "send" when I put in my screen name. Since then, I have had so many nice people guiding me, like sweetliberty. I'm not sure about my deep political analysis skills, however I am familiar with border issues and I frequently write letters to the editor (published).
