I'm here and we're fine. Thanks for asking :) We had no bad weather to speak of, one very brief rain shower and some lovely breezes but both were very welcome. The ONLY time we ever have a breeze is when a storm is on the way. LOL Temps fell to around 84-97 for a few days but today its back up to 94. We were blessed and we know it.... my heart breaks for all those people on the coast....
What we did have was lots and lots of evacuees. Every hotel was jammed packed as were all the shelters. The streets and interstates (freeways to Californians : ) looked like parking lots, nothing was moving. People traveling from New Orleans said it took between 6 to 10 hrs to travel approx 90 miles. Of course, every restaurant, of any kind, and every bar was full to the rafters.
Our highs are running in the 60's with lows in the 50's....I have the furnace on...It's Fall here no matter what the calendar says....
