Isn't that the truth. I was one of these kids that had to know why I wasn't supposed to do something. "Because I said so" never struck me as an adequate explanation, so I had a tendency to find out for myself. Hmmm....wonder why I'm not supposed to play with matches. Wonder what happens if I play with razor blades. Why shouldn't I go play in the deep end?

Same here.
I always had to know the 'why' of everything.
That's how I learned about 220AC current as well.
