I never knew a middle-aged, chubby, white guy could make such a tough villain. ;^)
Even Superman has trouble with Lex Luthor, and he's a middle-aged, chubby, bald white guy. ;)

LOL! I actually have a hard time getting into Doc Ock as a villain in the comics. I always think to myself, "He doesn't have any super-strength--why doesn't Spidey just web up his glasses and knock him out with one punch?" The way they did him in the movie worked well, though. It was Octopus' threat to other people moreso than to Spider-Man that made him dangerous.
