Sounds basically right, unless I'm missing something. One question on #2 and #3: would any of the Pacific battles prior to the Allied landing at Africa or the air raids on Tokyo count as "invasions"? Also on #2, didn't we also land at the same time in (Morocco)?

Last one first: it might have been Morocco instead of Algeria.

I deliberately worded the questions to exclude air-raid-only actions; apparently not well enough :)

I'm pretty sure all the SOPAC territory taken by ground troops was retaken, having been previously captured by Japan, and not previously Japanese Homeland territory.

Guess I have more work to do...
