Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

I guess I'd be out of place if I started posting some George Jones or Hank Williams lyrics, huh? At least you'd pick up the half of the thread that is lost!

Well, she was hotter then a two dollar pistol
She was fastest thing around
Long and lean, every young man's dream
She turned every head in town....

The only place I know of that has a parking lot is Spaghetti Factory, and they probably wouldn't let us park for longer than just dinnertime.
I think most of them are not more than a couple of blocks further than Ivar's from the concert hall, except for Spaghetti Factory, Anthony's, and 6-7. Would we want to park near Benaroya and then walk to the restaurant?

She was built in from the handles
Son, I'm glad that you walked in
She reminds me of the one I loved back then

Well, either just parking once, or parking at a restaurant with good parking, was my goal. There is good parking at Benaroya. That's not the problem at all :~D

But I always thought he was saying "She was built, and fun to handle, Son..."

I hope so Ruthy.
I have always hurt for Myranda for having lost so much in her childhood. I'm glad that it's being restored to her.

Well I handed him my keys and said, here take her for a spin
The old man scratched his head, then he looked at me and grinned
He said son you just don't understand it ain't the car I want
It's the brunette in your vette that turns me on

Parking under the viaduct is so iffy, and I'd worry about Ramius's car. It's a convertable.
See.... this is what makes me crazy about the city. Here, every restaurant actually has a parking lot.
