I think I'm caught up now.
A little. There weren't many people out, but a few people stopped by, including a friend who plays with us sometimes but hadn't heard us in awhile. He was impressed.
Took you fewer posts than Suzi's catch-ups. How does Jr like his room?
He likes it. He and his Mom talked about taking the pattern from the comforter and putting it on the wall.
I just stared at 'em.
Tell him he's free to do whatever he wants on his own, with his own time and money.
Well, pretty much he can do that. But he's not painting over those walls I just finished.
Heh... if he'd seen how much work you put into it, he wouldn't want to. He probably thinks the magic painting fairy showed up and waved a wand...

I really wanted to get in here last night but I didn't get out of work until almost 7. Then, when I called home, my mom told me that our double ovens needed to be replaced because the electrician had found evidence of a short in the wiring. He said he was surprised that they hadn't caught fire when we used them!
Long story short, got home around 10:30 last night, still in my work clothes nad by the time I bathed the kids and got them to bed it was far too late to deal with my spotty dial-up. *sigh*
We did get a nice set of double ovens from Brandsmart though. They'll be delivered on Thursday, so the cabinet guys will have to come back to install that section of the kitchen. They're installing the rest of the cabinets, countertops and applicances today...*fingers crossed*
In other news, my mom decided to tear out some of the tiles in her step down shower and we discovered a lovely hotbed of mold there too. Thankfully, our tiling guy is a friend of the family and he's taking care of that today as well. Whew!
I can't believe I'm already back here in this stupid chair at this stupid desk. Didn't I ~just~ leave?

It's been very quiet. WNeighbor hasn't been around. Hair and ecurbh's marriage papers didn't go through, so they have to do it again. Had a lot of small dramas. I'm moving to Colorado in 8 days and Corin's going on vacation in 9.
I think that's the highlights!

In other news....shhhhhhh...don't tell anyone. We're evacuating the buildling at 10:00 a.m. I think they have to make sure we can all walk to the right spot.
If there's a cute little pig outside saying "Bah Ram Ewe" I'm gonna come back to my desk...

What have you been up to?
He's pretty happy with it. We still need to set up his desk and shelves and hang the hammock chair. Then he wants to put up his posters and stuff.
I was encouraging him to remember that less is more. Told him too many posters/pennants, etc. would destroy the color impact. We'll see what he ends up doing.
