Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
...Let them pass! Let them pass!
(Note to dwarves, this is only meant figuratively)
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Say, are you watching the South Park marathon on Comedy Central?
To: Bear_in_RoseBear
Yeah - we are!
The national recorder contest is on in Arkansas, and Mr Garrison just went to ask his father why he was never molested because he feels rejected. ;~D

Well, today... er... the 16th, that is, was elf-boy's 6th birthday. We took smiley face cookies to VBS to make it special. Tonight, we went to the Ranger game in Arlington. Rangers won, 11-2. What made the game especially special for him was the fireworks after the game. Truly, they were more spectacular than the ones we saw on the 4th. Not everyone gets to see fireworks on their birthday. elf-boy was beaming with excitement.
His party is tomorrow afternoon at the park. There is a really cool "sprayground" where the kids get to play in the water on hot days. Iam not anywhere near ready. yikes!
I forgot to take the camera to the game, but will definitely post pics of the party.

Hey there! Of all folks, I figgered you'd be asleep by now. ;-)
I just got home from a night out with my mom and youngest sister. We had a pretty good time!
Now I'm just unwinding and watching South Park.
How are the babies?
