I'm back from the beach. What a blast we had! We had 4 houses for 5 days/4 nights. 24 family members came. The main gathering house had a long wharf out over the water with a big pavilion at the end. The children fished, crabbed, went tubing & boogey-boarding, and--naturally--stayed in the water the entire time. (I spent a lot of time in the swing on the wharf sipping my vodka tonic. Hey, it was hot!)

On Saturday we took the boats down to Pensacola for the Blue Angels show. The two boats we brought didn't have much cover, so we rented a pontoon boat with a 2nd level for shade...and a big slide off the top tier. The kids were ecstatic, hardly watched the show for sliding.

It was tons of fun and everyone got along great. But it's alway nice to get home, too. I've spent some time getting caught up and was particularly taken with the picture of Kerry's daughters...bless their little hearts.

Just great!

The beaches of Pensacola are some of the very finest on this continent.

Glad that you're safely home.

Cheers.
