She's right. Bush has to take the offensive and draw attention to the differences between an America under Kerry and an America under him. Otherwise all those knee jerk democrats will just vote the ticket because their grandfathers were democrats and the conservatives will just sit this one out.
That's my take it on too. Quite frankly, the President hasn't made the case for his re-election. If he fails to make it, the other side wins by default. Laura is frustrated by what happening with the Bush campaign. They don't seem to be doing what the base is expecting. And if they don't, indeed they can kiss the election good-bye in November.
