Dedicated Laura fan here although I don't get to listen to her show much since she moved to the AM. If she did say this it is an attempt to galvanize the President's supporters. As for McCain, he is the media's favorite 'Republican' and loves the spotlight. With party colleagues like him, who needs the Democrats?
The President should be doing a lot better than he is. If he loses, the conclusion that can be drawn is he didn't get a lot done in four years in office. The tax cuts are nice but we have seen anything done to affect the growth of government in Washington? Is Rove heeding the danger signs?
