I keep telling my husband that Laura is the future "Rush".
I listen to Rush everyday BUT yesterday he spent the entire 3 hours telling me how bored he was. Know what? I found that both BORING and insulting. I have learned a lot from Rush but I believe he has lost a lot of his passion...It happens when you have success beyond your wildest dreams and you probably start to wonder, "Why am I still doing this everyday? I could be playing golf." It shows whether you think it does or not.
I enjoy Laura very much. She is exceptionally bright--that is apparent in her interviews with "the other side"--with her fast, sharp-edged come-backs. I like the interplay with her two sidekicks--they, too, are bright, quick-witted and funny.
The music in-and-out of the segments is great.
I thought her comments this morning were right on target.
She wakes me up and shakes me up and, lately, I've had that nagging feeling that that is exactly what the Bush campaign is needing a dose of. Laura called it perfectly.
Go Laura! I'll be listening!

I think that radio hosts go up and down in quality just like everything else. Rush is the Babe Ruth of Talk, and there will never be another like him, but his show has been down for months. Remember that within a year he has both entered drug rehab and announced a divorce. Still some of the topics he has done has left me disillusioned that he can sometimes be a hack. His insight is still uncanny.

Laura Ingraham has a very good show and has a female sense of humor, which is unique. One of her funniest shows was when her and Susan Estrich were talking about dating liberal men.
