Fox News: Cheney comments on "F" situation
Fox News Channel - DaySide With Linda Vester | 6/25/04 | Fox News

On DaySide W/ Linda Vester, on Fox News Channel, they provided information about an interview between Dick Cheney and Neil Cavuto which had just been completed, and played a clip. The following is what was said, as best as I can remember - paraphrasing:

Cheney: I expressed, in no uncertain terms, my opinion of his behavior.

Cavuto: Did you curse?

Cheney: Yes. (Or Cheney might have said "probably.")

Cavuto: Do you regret it?

Cheney: No.

Do you regret it? .... No.

ROTFLMAO!!! Cheney's honesty just rammed a potential "issue" back into the D's faces. Now they can't challenge him on it without it becoming known why Cheney was pissed -- and that will make Leahy look bad.

I believe Mr. Cheney may well be the unacknowledged master of the "accidental" microphone. He's certainly two for two....

Well, of course, he doesn't regret it. The VP is a thinker, he isn't impulsive, he doesn't lose control and say things he doesn't mean. Leahy had had that coming for a long time and the VP delivered. Big Time does, indeed, ROCK.

Cheney: Yes. (Or Cheney might have said "probably.")

He gave a sly smile and said "probably."
